A football team to support men who have been bereaved by stillbirth or miscarriage has been established in Coleraine.

Sands Utd Coleraine FC is a football team “based on stillbirth, miscarriage, baby loss for bereaved dads, uncles, brothers cousins – welcoming everyone”.

The organisers hope to gather a team to begin training in the next few week, before setting up some matches before Baby Loss Awareness month in October.

Anyone interested in joining the team should send a message to the Sands Utd Coleraine FC Facebook page.
