Footballer taken to hospital after clash
A MAN was taken to hospital after sustaining an injury during a football game on Saturday afternoon in Lurgan.
It happened during a junior soccer match at the Gordon Playing Fields.
It’s understood both the rapid response vehicle and ambulance were called to the scene.
The man was treated for a whiplash-related injury as a consequence of a collision with another player.
