Ninety percent pass rate at High School

THERE was good news at Banbridge High School this year with over 90% of grades being a pass.

The school’s principal, Mr Andrew Bell, praised the pupils who stayed with their to continue their studies.

“The school would like to congratulate all the young people from Banbridge High School who received their A level and A/S results today,” he said.

“It is a testament to the commitment of these young people, who having remained at Banbridge High School to undertake post 16 work, to want to progress and develop further into the world of education.

“Over 90% of the grades achieved at A level were A-E, with some pleasing results being achieved at A/S level. Everyone at the school would like to wish these young people every success in the future and in particular the Year 14 pupils who will be leaving school and entering into new areas of learning and training.”
