Cormac Savage (pictured) Member of the Youth Parliament from South Down has been awarded the British Youth Council Paul Boskett Memorial Award – for the second time in a row

The prize is awarded to two Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs) for their speeches during the 2019 sitting at the UK House of Commons and recognises the excellent contributions to the debates and the UK Youth Parliament’s campaigns.

Cormac received the award for giving the best debate-lead speech.

Cormac said: “It is a true privilege to win the Paul Boskett MBE award for the second year in a row.”
