College staff and pupils are over the moon

STAFF and pupils at St Patrick’s College were once again over the moon with their success in this year’s A-Level examinations.

The school says that these wonderful results are especially pleasing for the parents of those pupils who were anxiously waiting on their results.

Paul Carlin, the school’s principal, congratulated the students on achieving their A-Level grades and obtaining University places.

“I am delighted to announce that 100% of our students achieved A*–E grades in one or more subjects at A-Level with 14% of our students achieving ‘A’ grades, including an A* also,” he said.

“St Patrick’s is a non selective and all ability College and we have demonstrated once again the high standards we help our students achieve. The students have worked extremely hard throughout the past two years and are very deserving of their excellent results.”

He also paid tribute to the staff of the College who motivated and encouraged the students to excel at their studies throughout their time at the school.

St Patrick’s College offers a wide range of Post 16 Courses which are open to pupils from other schools. Their Sixth Form open morning is on Monday August 29 from 9.30am–12pm.

Everyone is welcome.
