Retail application shows confidence in Banbridge: Lockhart
DUP MP Carla Lockhart has welcomed notice of a forthcoming application for two retail units at Bridgewater Park.
Carla Lockhart said: “Bridgewater and The Boulevard have enjoyed a renaissance in recent times and the news that a further development is in the pipeline will be exciting news for the community of Banbridge and beyond. We want to see as diverse an offering as possible for consumers and I am confident that having discussed this issue with the developers, it will be a great boost to the economy of Banbridge. I am delighted that the work and efforts of Bridgewater have paid off.
“Obviously an additional benefit will be the jobs that are created a result of this new venture. At a time when our economy, and our job market, is in turmoil, we want to see jobs created.”
