More help needed for businesses in crisis - Lockhart
MP for Upper Bann, Carla Lockhart has said Government must do all in its power to support businesses, as the effect of the coronavirus takes its toll on our local economy. The DUP representative was speaking after being inundated with requests from businesses seeking help. In response, a business update information service has been set up by the MP, and businesses are encouraged to register for future updates.
She said: “I would encourage businesses seeking further assistance and clarity on available support to get in touch with my office and register for updates. We have hundreds of businesses already availing of this information service and want the message to get out to as many as possible that help is there.
“We continue to press Government for more.”
