Enterprise Day for New-Bridge pupils

AS it is Global Enterprise week from November 16-18 New-Bridge Integrated College hosted an Enterprise Day for all of their Year Nine students on Monday November 12.

Young Enterprise conducted an engaging Y9 programme with the pupils which concluded with a competition where pupils had to create their own board game in teams. This was thoroughly enjoyed by the pupils and developed many of their skills.

In the afternoon a number of local entrepreneurs attended the event to talk to students about developing their own business ideas and about the challenges and rewards of running their own enterprise. The guest speakers were: Mr Paul Evans from Evo Soccer School, Banbridge, Mr Michael Young from Telepizza, Banbridge and Mr Giles Conlon from Iveagh Movie Studios, Banbridge.
