Colin’s worldwide export success honoured

COLIN Edgar has been making a splash in the export market for almost 10 years now but his trading with countries as far flung as Brazil last year made 2011 another year to rememeber for the Dromore man.

Scooping the Best Export Award for the second year in a row at the Leader’s Business Awards, Colin said “It’s always nice to get a bit of recognition.”

The company, CET Cryospas, has been producing therapeutic spas for the last 10 years, initially in the equine market and latterly in sports recovery, where forays into England and the USA have won major sporting clients from the worlds of SuperLeague Rugby, Premier League Football and America’s National Football League and National Basketball Association.

Colin’s products have featured in a number of television programmes, from Sky Sports, UTV, BBC and RTE and orders have shot up from next to none in the first half of 2010 to more than 100,000 in the space of four months.

Speaking after receiving the award Colin detailed the calibre of teams they have supplied spas to recently.

“Man City now have three, AC Milan have two, we have also dealth with Castleford Tigers and Crystal Palace. This year we’ve supplied to Brazil, South Africa, Germany, France, the UK and Ireland. “The product we have is a worldwide market in terms of sport. The other side of the business is equine. We started with the horse side around 210 years ago and the sports recovery has evolved from that.”
