Budget Music Videos has developed a website which lets musicians choose their style of music video, add their music and download in a matter of minutes at fraction of the cost and labour of normal music videos.

The company enrolled in Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s Business Engagement Programme, which provides one-to-one mentoring support. The council helped the company to find its current premises in Dromore and the founder, Loraa White, has used her story and experience to inspire others by presenting during council’s Enterprise Week, as well as acting as an ambassador for the Digital Youth Programme.

The new website is the brainchild of Loraa, the venture was built around the company’s video production core and is addressing the growing need for faster, cheaper and easily accessible content for music makers to promote their product. Over the last two years, Budget Music Videos has built its ecommerce website with a proof of concept grant from Techstart NI, building custom editing software so musicians can edit their video before they buy.

ABC Lord Mayor, Cr Mealla Campbell, had been due to open Budget Music Videos’ new Dromore premises but the coronavirus pandemic forced a postponement. She said: “I want to congratulate Budget Music Videos on a successful launch of a product which is undoubtedly a world-class offering. The inherent innovation and ingenuity of Loraa and the team has developed a truly unique product which is tapping into a real need in the music industry and the company looks set for global success.”

Loraa White, Director at Budget Music Videos, said: “We have only recently launched the business and it has been a huge success so far. I look forward to growing Budget Music Videos further in the coming months internationally and collaborating with more music platforms.”
