It’s panto time at the Waterfront

This year’s festive pantomime has begun its run at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast.

Jack and the Beanstalk is the pantomime to see this Christmas - the family festive favourite packed with everyone’s favourite ‘larger than life’ characters.

Its Christmas time in Stoneybroke but no one has a penny. Poor Dolly Dosh is down on her luck and her skateboarding son Jack and loud mouthed cow Daisy are no help
at all.

The very Evil Mr and Mrs Penny Pinch threaten that if they don’t pay the rent, they will all be eaten by the not so jolly (and in fact very nasty) Giant.

When Jack is sent to market to sell their beloved cow, he comes home, not with money - but a handful of
beans.

With beans for cash, is Jack’s plan to pay the rent half ‘baked’ or will he and Dolly have to do a ‘runner’ to keep off the Giant’s dinner menu?

Or could their luck be on the up thanks to the Magical Fairy Nu and her friend Princess Jill?

Forever the optimist, Jack believes the sky’s the limit and that every cloud has a silver (or sometimes even a golden) lining.

Presented by LANA Productions, Jack and the Beanstalk is produced by Martin Lynch and Joe Rea, and directed by Lisa May.

Producer Martin Lynch said: “Jack and the Beanstalk is the best panto in town with cracking characters, a fantastic cast, brilliant music by Mark Dougherty and led by the talented
Lisa May.

“I know my Granddaughter Lana is very excited to see the brilliant Ross Anderson back as the Dame.”
