Strangford comes to Lough Neagh

‘Strangford Lough’ comes to Lough Neagh and its Discovery Centre this month, via Bernie Brown’s striking photographic exhibition ‘The Life of the Lough’ which opens here after a successful tour of Co. Down and a major outing at Milwaulkee’s ‘Irish Fest’ in the USA last August.

Featuring the faces and stunning landscapes of Co Down’s Strangford Lough, this impressive collection has managed to capture the many moods and seasons of the lough, and features dramatic portraits of local people, who bring an earthy, yet ‘sea-salt reality’ to this unique photo exhibition.

Environmental photojournalist Bernie Brown, has in one room, captured a real sense of Strangford Lough, its historical, geographical, environmental, leisure and spiritual aspects which, when viewed alongside each other, remind us how special this inlet of sea water on our Co Down coastline actually is.
