A spokesperson said, “With the opening of the new Spinning Studio Dromore Leisure staff are very excited about the new health and exercise opportunities this facility will bring to the people of Dromore. “They have also highlighted that the development of the new studio is a great example of the continued excellent working partnership between the council, the centre and their customers.

“The fully air conditioned state of the art studio boasts 15 brand new Star Trac spinning bikes and also houses a stunning 50 inch TV screen to aid and encourage spinners with their exercise routine in an enjoyable environment.”

Spin Instructor Claude Crawford added, “Spinning is fun and energetic and is one of the most effective ways to burn calories. Many customers also find these classes provide an excellent way to cross train and help build endurance and stamina.”

Dromore Leisure is different from many other exercise clubs in that no sign-up, monthly or annual fees are required. Customers need only pay per class or purchase a special class package and attend when they want.

Spinning classes run on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7.40pm and 8.30pm and Friday’s at 6.30pm. The cost per session is £4.60 for members and £5.90 for non members.

Morning classes are also held each Tuesday at 9.30am and cost £4.10 per session for members and £5.35 for non members.

A special package of 10 classes is available for £35

All classes can be booked at Dromore Community Centre - 028 9269 9070.

“Due to high demand classes must be booked at least one week in advance,” the spokesperson said.
