‘Never Felt Better Day’

Magherafelt is hosting another ‘Never Felt Better Day’ on Saturday (March 29) with a host of exciting activities throughout the town centre to celebrate the arrival of Spring.

The event follows on from the success of the Christmas event and it’s part of Magherafelt Council’s ongoing promotion of Magherafelt’s excellent independent boutiques, fantastic leisure facilities, award-winning restaurants and superb night life.

Cool FM DJ Ricky K will be hosting events from 11am and from 1pm – 3pm, kids can enjoy face painting, balloon modelling and glitter tattoos in the town centre.

There’s something for all the family with local businesses offering deals, promotions and give-away’s through the town’s Never Felt Better app, available on apple and android at http://www.neverbetteronline.com

Free Junk Art Workshops will be held in the Bridewell, though booking is necessary due to limited availability. To book telephone the Bridewell: 028 796 31510.

Magherafelt District Council Chairperson, Cllr Catherine Elattar says: “The ‘Never Felt Better Days’ are a working example of the strong partnership that has been developed over the past few years between businesses, Council and other public bodies to support the continued successful progression of the town centre.”

A few special characters will also be welcoming visitors including Spring Chicken and Mad March Hare.
