Kodaline announce a return to Belfast

Dublin quartet Kodaline have announced they will be making a welcome return to Belfast later this year.

Whilst on stage at Tennent’s Vital last weekend, the band revealed they would be performing at the Waterfront Hall on December 9 and tickets are on sale now.

Kodaline released their second album ‘Coming Up For Air’ in February, topping the Irish album charts. Drawing inspiration from producers Jacknife Lee (Snow Patrol, R.E.M), Jim Eliot (Ellie Goulding) and ‘A Perfect World’ producer Steve Harris, Kodaline saw fully-fledged songs flow out of them much quicker than they ever anticipated.

The album features numerous hits including first single ‘Honest’ featuring a stadium sized chorus of which Coldplay would be proud, the anthemic ‘The One’, which for years to come is sure to soundtrack countless first dances and ‘Ready’ with it’s driving percussion sound.

‘Coming Up For Air’ is the follow up to their 2013 debut ‘In A Perfect World’ which has sold over 350,000 copies worldwide and includes hits such as ‘All I Want’, ‘High Hopes’ and ‘Love Like This’.

Tickets for the Belfast show are on sale now from all usual outlets.
