Jubilee invitation from churches committee
A COMMITTEE from five local churches - Anahilt, Cargycreevy, Drumlough and Loughaghery Presbyterian and Annahilt Parish - is extending an open invitation to ‘Picnic and Praise’, a special event, to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, on Sunday afternoon, June 3.
The event will take place at the Magheraconluce Road, on the edge of Annahilt village, just beyond the Riverdale Housing development.
A spokesperson said, “Come with your picnic at about 2.30pm and enjoy an afternoon of great family fun, food and fellowship; a programme of praise and celebratory music provided by Baillies Mills Accordion Band will start at 3pm.”
