Grease is a musical about Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson who fall in love during the summer break. When they go back to school, they are reunited at Rydell High. But things aren’t quite the same between the pair when they clash at Rydell’s first pep rally. They try to be like each other so they can be together. But will love conquer all?

This is a unique opportunity for people of a certain age, who have already seen this all-time great movie, to take a trip down memory lane and relive the adolescent angst, teenage pranks, fast cars and summer loving at Rydell High.

Children who like the more modern High School Musical will be enthralled by the original motion picture that is still considered to be the most successful movie musical ever created. As well as being nominated for an Oscar, ‘Grease’ picked up three Golden Globes for Best Motion Picture, Best Actor (John Travolta) and Actress (Olivia Newton-John).

Domino’s Pizza will have a stall at the event serving up some delicious piping-hot pizza and for added convenience you can pre-order your pizza on 4066 0770. All orders will be delivered directly to the park. Other refreshments such as popcorn, sweets and drinks will be on sale at the event. Don’t forget to bring along a comfy cushion too.

This free outdoor cinema event has been organised by Banbridge District Council. For further information, contact the Council’s Leisure and Development Department on 4066 0605.
