Four-day Choral Festival to get underway in city
The inaugural City of Derry International Choral Festival begins on 24th October.
The four-day festival will bring local, national and international choirs and artists to the city for a celebration of everything choral music has to offer.
School and national competitions will take place from Thursday through to Sunday (24th -27th) and Saturday night, 26th October, will see seven choirs of international standing take to the stage of the newly refurbished St. Columb’s Hall to compete for the bespoke International Trophy, designed by local artist and sculptor Maurice Harron.
