Average Londonderry house price drops to £105,000
THE average price of a house in Londonderry now stands at £105,432.
The latest University of Ulster Quarterly House Price Index, produced in partnership with Bank of Ireland and the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, reveals that the Londonderry-Strabane price is £34,000 below the overall price average for Northern Ireland. The survey also reveals that the cheapest place to buy a house in the North is North Belfast where the average price is £82,500. The most expensive place to purchase a property is in South Belfast where the average price is £225,592.
The price index also discloses that, in Londonderry and Strabane, the overall average price level is down 9.6% to £105,432.
