Sunflowerfest kindly acknowledges the assistance of the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, Lisburn City Council and Oxfam Ireland in this year’s event. Oxfam Ireland Campaigns and Advocacy Officer Christine McCartney said: “Oxfam Ireland is proud to be the charity partner for Sunflowerfest 2012. The partnership will be a perfect fit for Oxfam - exciting, passionate, and dynamic - and will help our overseas development work in emergencies such as the West Africa food crisis and long-term development work in Haiti. Our team will be at the festival and I, for one, am really looking forward to soaking up the atmosphere and hearing some excellent music and telling festival-goers all about our work.”
