Jim Devine will appear with his band at the Bannville House Hotel, Banbridge on Friday November 28,
It has been progress all the way this year for Jim. The Strabane singer has won a host of awards, recorded three hit singles and projected himself up among the top half-dozen singers in the country.
No wonder he is pleased but he recognises that bigger challenges lie ahead in 2015.
Jim is hoping to bring out a new album and undertake even more extensive touring.
“I am delighted with the way things have been going so far but next year will be our third year on the road and we want to make an even bigger impact if we can,” asserts Jim.
His latest single ‘We’re here to stay’ is proving very popular not only on local radio stations up and down the country, but also in the ballrooms.
Jim’s band encompasses some of the country’s finest musicians and this being the case it’s no surprise to learn that his repertoire not only embraces quality country music but a flavour of 60′s and standards spiced with a little rock and roll.
His distinctive style, relaxed demeanour and obvious zest for his new-found role mark Jim down as someone who is destined to scale a higher peak in the demanding entertainment sphere before too long.
