A DROMORE woman whose son has cerebral palsy has written a book to educate children about the condition.
When Heather and Gary McCarter's son David was born he wasn't expected to live beyond a year.
Instead, this brave little boy has battled to stay alive for eight years - with a smile on his face.
Now his mum Heather has written a children's book called 'David and his Wheels Go to the Park' to show others that children like David enjoy the same things as everyone else.
Heather is hoping to publish a series of 'little David' books.
Watch Gail Edgar's full interview with Heather now by pressing play on the right hand side of this story, and read more in Tuesday's Leader.
