Slane end off season

MONEYSLANE’S senior section played their last fixture of the season last weekend when the first team played Valley Rangers and lost 3-0.

The first team finished fifth in Mid-Ulster Intermediate ‘B’ playing 24 games, winning 11, drawing six and losing seven. The First Squad also got to the Alan Wilson Cup final and were unlucky getting beaten by Ballymacash on penalties.

The Reserves also had a good year in Mid-Ulster Reserve Three Division finishing fifth, winning eleven games drawing two and losing seven.

The Third team played in the Newcastle Division Three and had a great season with some unreal results against the top teams and finished fifth, winning 11 games, drawing five and losing seven.

Overall all three teams finished fifth in the respected Divisions and the Club would like to thank all players, coaching staff, managers and supporters who continue to follow this Club in big numbers.
