Ladies bowls

This week’s visitors to Holm Park were Antrim Lawn Ladies.

The visitors , who play on a synthetic surface at their home green, were unable to settle on the much slower paced local grass green.

Dromore quickly took advantage of this uncertainty to establish a winning position.

Rink 2 scored freely throughout and returned a 19 shot victory whilst Rink 2 came strongly towards the end to win by 11 shots.

The 30 shot victory thus gained Dromore maximum points in their challenge for league honours.

Ardenlee Ladies will provide the opposition in Belfast in the next game .
