Good week for Macosquin
IT was a good week for Macosquin in the Coleraine and District League as they made it through to both the McCandless Cup final and the Lexie Kirk Cup final.
Maccosquin saw off Burnside in the McCandless Cup winning by 12-shots in the end after triumphing on three of the four rinks.
R McClements was the biggest winner on the night beating J Nevin by 10 shots.
In the Lexie Kirk Cup Macosquin travelled to St Colum's and secured their spot in the final with a 32-shot win.
The visitors won on all four rinks to record a comprehensive win.
Meanwhile in the Chest, Heart and Stroke Cup semi First Dunboe triumphed over Ballinteer.
The hosts won by 19-shots with V Callaghan top scorer with a 12-shot win over W Calvin.
