THE Banbridge Ulster Fourball team have reached the quarterfinal of this prestigious GUI competition.

Their opponents in the quarterfinal will be Shandon Park. The first leg will be played at the Belfast course next Sunday, August 5.

Team captain, Merton McDowell, has selected the following team:

Robert Haire and Philip Strong; Dominic Quinn and James Bryson; Will Dickson and Gerry Blevins; Robert Clydesdale and Kieran Meade; William Clarke and John Poots.
