Dromore Ladies in impressive Bowls win

LAST week Dromore Ladies made the short journey to Lisburn to play Lagan Valley Ladies in a League fixture. Having dropped valuable

points the previous week it was very important that the team recorded a good win to improve their League position.

While Rink 1 recorded an excellent win the other Dromore rink had to dig deep to salvage a tie. The locals therefore gained an overall win by 18 shots and 4.5 League points out of 5 (maximum).

The Dromore team was: RINK 1: B WILSON, A McGARITTY, M DAWSON, L AIKEN; RINK 2 : L GRIBBEN, M WARD, J MALCOLMSON, C OGLE
