They scored a massive 154 points from their four best cards. rian Mulholland led the way with 41 points.

Peter Hillen, despite playing a wrong ball at the 10th hole, had 40 points; Bobby Geddis had one point after two holes but finished with an excellent 37 points; Harry Shannon was well pleased with his 36 points.

The other four players, John Poots, Tony Ewbanks, Norman Doak and Philip Strong, stood back and applauded their teammates.
