QUARTER-FINAL DRAW AND TOMMY FEE’S TIPS

The line-up for the quarterfinals is as follows:

John McCormac versus Alan McVey. (You would have to favour Alan in this game. He has the experience to see him through.)

Roy Sipson versus John Poots. (John has the opportunity to become the oldest winner of the Matchplay ever. But It’s asking a lot for him to beat Roy Sipson.)

James Bryson versus Ashton Clydesdale. (James is the lone survivor of the eight seeded players. He is expected to progress into the semi-final.)

Cecil Wilson versus Christopher Lennon. (It will be close but Cecil might have the edge when it comes to experience and matchplay craft.)
