It’s Juveniles Day next Sunday and one of the highlights will be the final of the Small Cup.

It will be a race against time to find the two finalists.

Five of the quarter-finalists have been decided.

Jack McKerr beat Luke Crory at the 20th.

Jamie Thompson beat Jack Hutchinson 3 and 2.

Chris Lennon beat Rory McMullan 5 and 4.

Thomas McKibben beat Matthew Doyle 3 and 2.

Stephen Teggart beat Matthew Burns.

Joshua Reain has to play Scott Nelson.

Matthew Reain has to play Josh Lockhart.

Patrick Magennis has to play Nathan Weir.

Let’s hope they can get all the games played before next Sunday without too many disqualifications.

Colin plays Conor in the Haughton Smyth Cup Final

The two semi-finals of the Haughton Smyth Cup have been played.

Colin Wilton beat Paul Wylie 2 and 1. Conor Mulholland beat Mark McCoy 1 up.

It will be a battle between two big hitters in the final. One would always fancy the lowest handicapper in a match like this.

That makes Colin the favourite but Conor will not be overawed, that is for sure.
