THE recent final of the Caledonia Smooth Gold Cup had people from far and near descend on Drumbo Park Greyhound Stadium for a night of thrilling and intense racing under the stars.

Guests dined in luxury in the venue’s panoramic grandstand restaurant while enjoying the pulse of on-track excitement that infiltrated.

The conclusion of the month long festival of racing saw Omagh-based greyhound China Special prove he was the top dog in the big race of the night winning £5,000.

Paul McGurk, Innovation Marketing Manager with Tennent’s NI, said: “Drumbo Park has brought a refined edge to Northern Irish greyhound racing and Caledonia Smooth is delighted to be part of the scene and involved in the Gold Cup, one of the most eagerly awaited highlights of the racing calendar.”
