Danny O’Boyle from Team Two was the only player in this year’s Winter League to score 30 points or better in each of the six rounds.

His scores were 30, 35, 30, 34, 31 and 37. It was a tremendous run and he deserves all our congratulations.

Eight other players managed to score 30 points or better on five occasions.

They were Peter Hillen (team 1), Dennis Lockhart (team 1), Merton McDowell (team 3), Bill McCandless (team 4), Graham Shannon (team 5), Johnny McKinstrey (team 5), Malcolm Russell (team 6) and Mel Hamill (team 7).

They all deserve a round of applause.
