Banbridge Seconds lost out to Bangor Thirds 31-45 in their last match of the league season.

The match started strongly for the visitors with some great attacking moves from Melissa Whan and Courtney Morris with some fantastic goals scored in the shooting circle.

Along with a fantastic defensive effort from Rachel Ryan and the newly returned Judith Thompson (back from working in America and Australia), Banbridge and Bangor were level at quarter time.

During the second and third quarters, Banbridge’s attack continued to excel, taking some really good interceptions and steals.

At half time, Cherie Hamilton moved into goalkeeper and this gave the game new energy with some good defensive pressure around the circle.

Although all the team played well, Bangor showed some great skills and this led to the final score of Bann 31 - 45 Bangor.
