Helen is the overall winner as rain fails to prevent good scores

The competition on Tuesday June 11 was a 18 hole stableford competition held to celebrate the life of past Lady Captain Maire McCambridge.

The prizes for the day were sponsored by some of the club members and a tremendous array of prizes were on display.

Unfortunately the good weather did not prevail long enough and conditions were somewhat wet throughout the day, however good scoring was evident with a number of handicap cuts occurring.

Prize winners were: Overall winner - Helen Cocks; Gross - Gail McNabb; runner-up - Mary Jo Thompson.

Section A - 1st, M Dargin; 2nd, Fionnuala Crossey.

Section B - 1st, Bronach Sands; 2nd, Liz Ramsey; 3rd, Una McSherry.

Section C - 1st, Ada Lavery; 2nd, I Hanna; 3rd, Dorothy Woods.

Team News: The Junior Cup team played Killymoon in Banbridge last Saturday afternoon in their second round match and Cowdy Cup team played Malone on Thursday with the home leg being played this week.
