Over twenty members of Dromore Cycling Club took part in the annual Giants Causeway Coast Sportive on Saturday September 13.
Two groups set off for the event, with one undertaking the 126km and the other doing the 182km routes through the stunning Glens and Coast of the north coast.
With 15 miles left, the only thing between the cyclists and the finish line was the infamous lung busting Torr Head road.
Those from Dromore Cycling Club that had the strength left in the legs took on the challenge of Torr Road and conquered the tough climbs.
Well done everyone who completed the cycle including the three very courageous ladies.
The club now has over 80 members and a fast growing ladies section.
Club runs leave Dromore Square at 6.30pm on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday and a ladies group on a Thursday.
A longer run leaves on a Sunday at 8.30pm.
New members are encouraged to attend the club on a Monday evening and cycle at a pace that suits everyone.
Full details of the Club can be found on the website at www.dromorecc.com.
New members always welcome.
