Fresh from multiple victories at the Munster Open, Welsh International Charlotte Carey took time out of a hectic training schedule to coach members of the Banbridge Regional Development Squad at its base in Edenderry Primary School.

Welsh No.1 Charlotte, accompanied by her mixed doubles partner, Gavin Maguire, came to Banbridge to conduct a master class for the local players.

Gavin and Charlotte also took time to visit Bridge Integrated Primary School during their time in Banbridge for a short coaching session and demonstration which was greatly enjoyed by the boys and girls.

The personal commitment shown by these young players to table tennis, has helped establish Banbridge as one of the power-houses of the sport in Ulster, as well as a coveted top 10 ranking for most involved.

Indeed three of the top ten U13 Boys are from the town.
