OVER 500 boys and girls took part in the Outlet Mini Rugby Festival at Rifle Park last Saturday.
Armagh, Ballynahinch and Dundalk joined with the host club with matches played at every grade from P2-P7.
The weather was kind and in dry conditions a big crowd of parents and supporters enjoyed a series of competitive games, with the emphasis very much on enjoyment and inclusion.
Points were awarded at every level based on fair play and respect for the opposition and at the end of a great morning’s rugby Ballynahinch were declared the winners of the Outlet Trophy, with Banbridge a close second.
Banbridge Minis now have two Saturday mornings’ practice before they travel to take on Lurgan Minis on 20th October.
New players will be made very welcome, with practice starting on Saturday mornings at 9.30am.
