Ryan Watson was left to rue his side’s defensive errors after Banbridge Town’s defeat to Moyola on Saturday.

“I’m sure it was very entertaining for the supporters but we came out on the wrong end of the result,” he said.

“We let ourselves down defensively. We gave them three soft goals in the first half and going in 3-1 down was probably too high a mountain to climb.

“The recent red cards came back to haunt us. It had a big impact on how many goals we conceded and how we conceded them.

“In the second half, we showed what we are capable of. We created numerous chances but we were unforunate that we were up against one of the best goalkeepers in the league.

“Gareth Orr made his debut and did very, very well. We have a lot of young guys like that coming up through the club and he put in a very good performance.”
