U14s keep up unbeaten run

BANBRIDGE Town Juniors U14s maintained their unbeaten run on Saturday but had to settle for a draw against Lower Maze.

Just 10 minutes were gone when Town captain Stewart received a straight red card after an incident with his opposite number.

Playing with 10 men, the locals regrouped and held out until half-time.

After the restart, the juniors took control but despite their domination just couldn’t get that all important goal and played with real belief right to the final whistle.

Despite playing 60 minutes with just 10 men, the Juniors were magnificent and every player deserves credit but special mention to Daire McCluskey, who at centre back was outstanding throughout.
