Tucker and Chapman at the double in 5-0 Gers win

Banbridge Rangers Under 13s made it 18 points out of 18 on Saturday at Cheney Park with a 5-0 win over Armagh City Eagles.

It was another fine display of pass and move football from the locals.

Both coaches Mark Wilson and Mark Bell are delighted with the start to the campaign that has seen the young side top of the league.

Defender Eddie Tucker scored the only goal of the first half with a low driven strike from a corner kick in the eighth minute.

Within six minutes of the restart Tucker had doubled the Gers lead, this time from a well executed free kick into the far top corner.

With 16 minutes to go, the game was wrapped up by Lee Chapman who stunned the ball from inside the box and it nestled comfortably in the far corner.

Chapman followed up with his second goal less than four minutes later this time checking inside the right back before finding the top corner with the pick of the goals.

The icing on the cake was added by Jamie Redpath who controlled a McCallen cross at the back post and lifted the ball into the roof of the net.
