Rangers to host Bloomfield on Saturday

Rathfriland Rangers’ next pre-season friendly takes place on Saturday afternoon at 2pm as they host Bloomfield at 2pm.

The remainder of their pre-season schedule has been announced ahead of the new season proper beginning on Saturday 9 August.

After training tonight (Tuesday) and Thursday at 7pm at Iveagh Park and Saturday’s friendly fixture, the club will also host Newry City AFC at Iveagh Park next Tuesday (29 July) at 7.30pm. City, of course, have already beaten Banbridge Town 5-1 this pre-season.

In a packed week of fixtures, Rathfriland then host Chimney Corner, who have recently dropped out of Championship Two on Thursday 29 July at 7.30pm. Moira Albion are then the visitors on Saturday 2 August, that game kicking-off at 2pm.

The following week will return to training on Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm at Iveagh Park.

Rangers Reserves

Rathfriland Rangers Reserves have two friendlies coming up over the next two weeks.

Firstly they are at home to Tullymore this Saturday (26 July) and then are at home the following week, Saturday 2 August, to Annalong. Both games kick-off at 2pm.
