Radcliffe is chairman

Stephen Radcliffe has been voted in as chairman of Banbridge Town Football Club following their AGM on Thursday evening.

Outgoing chairman Andrew Cully will be remaining involved at the club in the role of President.

“All at the club are very grateful to the outgoing chair and committee and are looking forward to the new season,” said Radcliffe.

“We have a very loyal and hard-working supporters club who have been outstanding, headed by Julie Comiskey and Terry Sweeney. They deserve a huge amount of thanks for all their help.”

Meanwhile, Banbridge Town Supporters Club are anxious to get the names and further details of past Club captains. They are keen to honour all these men by the creation of a board which would have all these details inscribed on it.

Anyone who could supply any information should contact Julie Comiskey on 07845521793 or Stephen Magill on 07832222658 or e.mail to sec@banbridgetownfc.com.
