Banbridge AFC 0

With AFCs Reserve game rescheduled, the first team took a long trip to Kilkeel at the weekend with the Boys Club looking to build on their improving performances of late.

A stern test awaited them in very tough opponents Valley Rangers. The home team, are not only one of the better footballing sides in the league but are also a physically strong and pacey side.

AFC did, however, hold their own for many parts of the game and indeed created a few chances but failed to really test the Rangers keeper.

AFC went in 2-0 down at half time and within six minutes s of the restart conceded a third, when a shot from range deflected off Simon Cannings back as closed down the attacker.

Unfortunately they conceded a fourth goal in the 74th minute and it was game over.

Next up is a home tie against Laurevale.
