Moneyslane FC Youth Awards are handed out

Moneyslane FC held their Youth Awards Day last Saturday at Jubilee Park.

Special guests Paul Fiztsimmons the Drumgooland Presbyterian Church Sunday School Superintendent and David Macauley presented all the junior members were with medals from the Club and the under 12s received their Carnbane League medals also.

U7s: Manager’s Player of the Year and the Fairley Perpetual Cup- Jack McCartan; Players’ Player of the Year and the Scott Shield - Tommy Cochrane; Highest goalscorer and the Lamont Shield - Tommy Cochrane; Most Improved Player of the Year and the Clydesdale Shield - Christopher Stanfield and Ben Noble.

U8s: Manager’s Player of the Year and the Denny Memorial Trophy - Ethan Hanna; Players’ Player of the Year and the Johnston Trophy - Sam Bailie; Highest goalscorer and the DJ Kitchens Cup – Sam Bailie; Most Improved Player of the Year and the Williamson Cup - Finley Easton and William Singer.

U10s: Manager’s Player of the Year and the Dickson Shield - Ethan Trimble and Marc Cochrane; Players’ Player of the Year and the D.N. Tyres Shield - Ethan Trimble; Highest goalscorer and the Richard Hanna Shield - Marc Cochrane; Most Improved Player of the Year and the Fisher Memorial Cup - Sam McConnell, Ewan Hayes and Aaron Shilliday

U12s - Manager’s Player of the Year and the Lakeview Catering Trophy - Jordan Davis; Players’ Player of the Year and the Hilltop Joinery Cup - Ethan Malcolmson and Steven Moorhead; Highest goalscorer and the Blakely Memorial Cup - Jordan Davis; Most Improved Player of the Year and the Bready Shield - Jonny Martin.

U12s’ girls section: Manager’s Player of the Year and the Moneyslane FC Cup - Erynn Kinley; Players’ Player of the Year and the Diane O’Kane Trophy- Chloe Megaw and Robyn Hanna; Highest goalscorer and the Corner Chippie Shield – Sophie Megaw; Most Improved Player of the Year and the Warburton Jewellers Trophy - Megan Davis.

U17s: Manager’s Player of the Year and the Hilltop Joinery Trophy - Adam Gibson; Players’ Player of the Year and the Corner Store Shield - Ross Kerr and Stevie Adair; Highest goalscorer and the Graham’s Ice Cream Trophy– Kurtis Bain

Most Improved Player and the Bready Shield – Adam Rowland

There was also a special presentation made to Leonard Blakely who has retired after 20 years.
