Juniors U10s have a weekend of mixed results at Games
Development Centre

Banbridge Town U10s played two more fixtures on Saturday at the Games Development Centre in Lurgan.

In the first game they started well when Harry Annett slotted in Josh Kerr but his shot was well saved; then Toby Jones made a great save for Banbridge to keep them in it.

The opposition then scored two goals but Town’s best move of the game came when Taylor Hill released Annett, whose first time ball over the defender allowed Josh Kerr in on goal but the ‘keeper just got a touch with Kerr getting a shot in again with Annett just touching it at the line.

Alex Innocenzi, Tom King, Ryan Meara and Calum Kermath made a number of fine tackles but a further goal dented Banbridge’s chances of a comeback.

In the second fixture Banbridge lost out by the odd goal after a tight first 15 minutes. Josh Kerr won a penalty but Annett’s shot grazed the crossbar while Ryan Meara and Taylor Hill had two fine efforts from distance on goal.

Tom King was strong in midfield for Town while Alex Innocenzi and Calum Kermath protected Toby Jones in goal.
