The Irish FA Girls Development Team will be hosting a one-off free training session at Cheney Park this Monday, 21st March.

All girls aged 7-12 are invited to attend the training session. Gail Macklin has recently been appointed Women’s Development Manager at the Irish FA and has been tasked with bringing more girls into organised football training and matches in each area.

The IFA Mid Ulster Games Development Centre along with the Active Community Coaches from Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council are involved with promoting and organising girls football with host club Banbridge Rangers.

All players are asked to register at 5.45pm at Cheney Park with the session taking place from 6-7pm. All players must wear shin pads and parking is restricted to the Coach Car Park.

All abilities are welcome to attend and it is open to all girls at no cost. Any girls wishing to take part in further organised training or league matches will be able to avail of information on Monday night.
