Dromore made some changes this week bringing in a bit of experience in McCartan and Smylie in midfield.

Dromore kicked off and started brightly playing good passing football on the deck and had the best of the early chances with Mulholland and then Beattie shooting wide.

On 20 minutes against the run of play Portavogie scored when they got a goal on the break. This spurred Dromore on and on 30 minutes Beattie equalized with a diving header after a perfect cross from Mark Atcheson.

Second half started with Dromore pressing forward and on 55 minutes Lockard sped a 50 yard ball to Mulholland who cooly slotted past the Portavogie keeper.

McCartan and Beattie then both missed one on one chances. But on 60 minutes Beattie made no mistake this time lifting the ball over the keeper to make it 3-1.

Portavogie sent up an extra striker and made a couple chances but Herron in Dromore goal saved well both times. Portavogie scored their second on 80 mins from a corner after slack marking from Dromore. Last minute Dromore made the game safe with Compton finishing well after McBratney had pressured Portavogie keeper into a mistake.
