THE Irish FA’s Women’s Football Department are holding one of only four IFA Festival Days nationwide at Moneyslane’s Jubilee Park this summer on Saturday August 17 from 10.30am-2.30pm.
As part of the FIFA Women’s Football Development Programme, the festival day is aimed at increasing the number of girls that play football in Moneyslane and surrounding areas in County Down, in addition to helping raise the profile of the sport.
The festival day will involve skills drills, small-sided games, inflatables, competitions and music
The day is free of charge and open to all girls aged between 6–16 years. For an application form contact Jackie Blyth (Irish FA Women’s Football Assistant): firstname.lastname@example.org. Completed application forms must be returned to Jackie before the relevant closing date Friday 2nd August. But please note get your application form in early because the places are filling up fast.
All participants will also receive a FIFA t-shirt.
Northern Ireland Ladies internationals will also be in attendance at the event and they will take time out to take part in drills, sign autographs, pose for photographs and participate in Q and A sessions.
