Dromore had to make a few changes as regular centre half Dee Pearson was unavailable due to illness. In her place came Fi Martin who moved from left back with Dede Brady taking up the full-back position.

Dromore won the toss and elected to play with the strong breeze behind them. This was to prove a wise decision as the home team dominated the first half, three up by half-time.

Early pressure forced a corner after ten minutes which young NI star Niamh Ruddy whipped in towards the away goal. Captain Tracy Orr got the final touch to open the scores.

More pressure forced the same result, this time it was Kerry Taggart who forced the corner over the line after Ruddy whipped it in with pace.

With five minutes to go to half-time, Dromore made it three, this time Brady delivered the corner which Orr forced over the line.

The second half began as the first half ended with the home team pressing the away defence further back.

Young Ruddy and Davis were linking well with Taggart and Douglas but they couldn’t get the fourth goal.

With 30 minutes to go, Bruce came on for Douglas with Davis moving out wide. The fourth goal came soon after when the away goalkeeper spilled a shot which striker Taggart pounced on.

Young Hannah Hughes replaced Davis with 15 minutes to go and her persistence up top was rewarded with her first goal for the club. Another dangerous corner from Brady caused all kinds of confusion and the young forward strode in to poke the ball over the line.

With ten minutes to go, Louise Kelly made way for the returning Sorcha Nugent who had been out due to an ankle injury.
