Rathfriland Rangers clinched title glory in emphatic style by steamrolling Larne Tech Old Boys 6-0, to secure the Whites’ first league title for 18 years.

Meanwhile, Moneyslane secured promotion to Mid Ulster Football League’s Flagship Division Intermediate A for next season.

Promotion hasn’t officially been announced though, as Slane’s nearest challengers Richhill can draw level on points by winning their last three games. The local do have a 70 plus better goal difference, so it’s safe to say they won’t be caught.

Rathfriland meanwhile sealed their league title with a thumping 0-6 win away to Larne Tech Old Boys on Saturday.

Rangers deadly striking duo James Costello and Ally Wilson got all of the goals, with James hitting four and Ally netting the other two.

Congratulations to Rathfriland on their success.
